We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support and manage domestic and international shipping operations
. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across global supply chains. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coordinating international shipments, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and navigating global trade compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and track international and domestic shipments from origin to final destination
- Prepare, review, and maintain international shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs forms
- Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and vendors to ensure smooth and compliant cross-border shipments
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export/import regulations
, Incoterms, and international trade laws - Monitor shipment status, proactively resolve delays, and communicate updates to internal teams and customers
- Schedule pickups, deliveries, and manage transportation logistics across air, ocean, and ground freight
- Coordinate warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment activities to support shipping timelines
- Assist with rate negotiation, cost tracking, and freight invoice auditing
- Maintain accurate shipment records and reports in logistics or ERP systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs
- 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Proven hands-on experience with international shipping (required)
- Strong knowledge of export/import documentation and customs procedures
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international carriers
- Familiarity with Incoterms
, HTS codes, and international trade compliance - Proficiency with logistics systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Experience shipping to/from multiple global regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
- Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, or other regulated shipping environments
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or technology environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and follow-through
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
