Program Overview

Located in Peachtree Corners, GA
, the Sales Development Program (SDP) is a full‑time, six‑month opportunity designed to equip recent graduates with the skills needed for a successful career in technical sales. Through comprehensive training, participants will develop expertise in technical sales strategies and techniques while gaining in‑depth knowledge of Siemens’ products, technologies, and core values.

Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep understanding of Siemens’ legacy, organizational structure, product offerings, systems, tools, and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with product management and subject matter experts across various functions.
  • Prepare sales quotations for teams, distributors, and customers.
  • Explore industry dynamics, including go‑to‑market strategies and channel partnerships.
  • Learn key sales skills, processes, and tools.
  • Develop networking skills with peers and leadership while applying proven sales methodologies.
  • Engage in a collaborative, team‑based environment alongside fellow trainees.
  • Receive guidance and support from recently graduated program mentors.
Program Structure

Over the course of six months, participants remain in Peachtree Corners for the duration of the Program. Upon successful completion of phase one, you will be eligible to interview for positions in sales, inside sales, and sales support (phase two). The first phase focuses on building a strong foundation in Siemens’ core products, systems, processes, and essential sales techniques. The second phase transitions into a more immersive, real‑world experience that reinforces and expands upon the skills developed in the initial phase.

Job Requirements
  • Graduated with a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Construction Management, Business, or Marketing.
  • Obtained a Professional Selling Certificate or similar.
  • Membership with your school's Sales Engineering Club or similar.
  • Right attitude and technical aptitude with a keen interest in the electrical industry.
  • Prior internship experience in sales or technical role.
  • Prior customer‑facing experience in sales, construction, engineering, or technical field.
  • Willing to relocate and travel as required by the program.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1, and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Pay Transparency
Siemens follows Pay Transparency laws. The pay range for this position is $68,000 – $72,000 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
