Overview

Inside Sales Account Manager – US Hub. This role is based in Alpharetta, GA with hybrid remote capability. The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is the primary sales representative responsible for the achievement of sales objectives and growth targets for mid-market and small-to-medium enterprise customers within the US hub. The territory includes opportunities to grow existing customers and establish new ones.

The ISAM works with Siemens Digital Industries and collaborates with field sales and distribution partners to deliver innovative and environmentally friendly solutions through digital channels.

You will contribute to overall customer happiness and achieve annual sales growth aspirations by leveraging Siemens ecosystems of Field Sales, Product Marketing, Distributor Sales, and external partners. You will use tools like Salesforce CRM and Outreach to manage, monitor, and document customer information and opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary sales representative for mid-market and SME customers in the US hub, driving sales objectives and growth targets.
  • Engage with business-to-business customers through digital channels, balancing virtual selling with meaningful engagement to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Understand customer needs and guide decision making toward Siemens Solutions through compelling storytelling and value messaging.
  • Promote Siemens Technology portfolio (e.g., HMI, SINAMICS, SIMATIC) and explain its value to customers.
  • Demonstrate reliable consulting and proactive communication, handling tough situations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Communicate with customers with active listening and open, honest dialogue to build excitement via phone or video calls.
  • Collaborate across the Siemens ecosystem (Field Sales, Product Marketing, Distributor Sales, partners) to maximize customer success and drive incremental business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, document customer information, and track progress in a timely manner.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets and drive closure on new opportunities within the targeted accounts.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling to business-to-business customers
  • Sales training, including handling
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Ability to generate prospective customers via warm and cold calling, with a focus on follow-up with decision makers throughout the sales cycle
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements for specific solutions
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • Industrial background in technology sales
  • Prior experience using Salesforce as a CRM
