Position: Doggy Daycare/ Lodging Animal Care Specialist - Part Time
Location Peachtree Corners, GA

** in Dunwoody, Georgia is looking for an animal care specialist with growth opportunities at our boarding/daycare/grooming facility. My Pet’s Vet, a successful veterinary hospital, has added more services for our clients by providing them a place they feel happy and comfortable bringing their fur babies for playtime and/or overnight stays. Help us deliver an outstanding experience for our furry guests.

Hours of Operation 7:00AM – 8:00PM
** Responsibilities and Duties
*** Work with a sense of urgency & intent
* Deliver outstanding client service through knowledge of products services and benefits available
* Follow through with all commitments made to clients and/or team members in a timely manner.
* Complete daily, weekly, and monthly chores.
* Partner with the Playtime staff during morning Buddy times, ensuring proper supervision, and care of pets as needed
* Ensure all necessary documentation of meals, potty breaks and that all interactions are completed.
* Complete pet’s intro and exit evaluations.
* Ensure each pet received outstanding service by providing safe, enjoyable experience during each and every interaction.
* Clean lodging areas
** Qualifications and Skills
*** Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
* This is a trainable position but having some previous experience in the pet industry is a plus.
* A commitment to outstanding client service.

* Education:

High School or Equivalent
* Standing or walking 90% of scheduled shifts
* Required to lift, move, and carry up to 40lbs
* Ability to control and walk a dog with a leash Work flexible shifts including nights, some weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
