**** Position Summary
** The Finance Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting corporate finance, FP&A, and accounting by delivering financial dashboards, forecasting tools, and high-impact analytics that drive major decisions across the organization. This role requires an exceptionally meticulous analyst with outstanding mathematical and accounting skills — someone who validates every number to the penny and maintains impeccable accuracy.

This is not just a reporting role. This analyst is a strategic partner to finance leadership, responsible for creating complex financial models, integrating multi-source datasets, automating workflows, and proactively identifying both opportunities for optimization and areas of risk — including patterns associated with fraud detection, discount abuse, unusual membership behavior, and operational anomalies.

The ideal candidate understands financial logic deeply, is highly technical, and thrives in an environment where precision, insight generation, and creative problem-solving are essential.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Build and maintain high-quality financial dashboards for revenue, margin, profitability, and cost structures.
* Develop forecasting, budgeting, margin, and scenario models with exceptional mathematical correctness.
* Construct complex profit-sharing models incorporating multiple data inputs, business rules, and custom logic.
* Analyze membership revenue, churn, pricing strategies, discount behavior, and financial trends.
* Support fraud detection analytics by identifying unusual revenue patterns, discount misuse, operational inconsistencies, and financial anomalies.
* Integrate and reconcile data from Adaptive Planning, Workday, and multiple operational systems.
* Ensure penny-level accuracy in every calculation and perform extensive QA before publishing results.
* Automate recurring monthly/weekly finance workflows to reduce manual work for FP&A and accounting.
* Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure the financial data model aligns with dimensional modeling best practices and governance standards.
* Document financial methodologies, assumptions, and data logic to ensure auditability and transparency.
** Key Skills
*** Exceptional math and accounting skills, with a commitment to penny-perfect accuracy.
* Advanced SQL and Power BI proficiency for building financial datasets and insights.
* Strong experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday, including financial data structures.
* Ability to analyze and integrate large, diverse datasets (operational, financial, consumption-based, equipment-level).
* Understanding of dimensional data modeling and how finance data fits into distributed data architecture.
* Strong financial modeling capability (forecasting, churn/LTV, pricing, profit sharing).
* Experience supporting fraud detection, anomaly identification, or financial risk analysis.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to leadership.
* Highly organized, precise, and detail-oriented with rigorous QA habits.
* Additional languages such as Python, R, or JSON handling are a plus.
