Corporate Accounting Manager - South Atlanta
Who: A detail-oriented accounting professional with 10+ years of experience and a strong foundation in financial reporting and compliance.
What: Lead day-to-day corporate accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and supervise the accounting team.
When: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional extended hours as needed.
Where: On-site in Fayetteville, GA.
Why: To enhance financial accuracy, streamline accounting processes, and support the company's operational and strategic goals.
Office Environment: Standard office setting with occasional visits to operational sites requiring adherence to safety protocols.
Salary: $115,000-$130,000 annually.
Position Overview:
This is a key leadership role within the corporate finance team, responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, overseeing financial reporting, and supporting audits, while developing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, taxes, and month-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and reporting using ERP tools (Sage Intacct).
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in corporate or multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred), and financial controls.
• Experience with job costing, long-term contracts, and financial planning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
