Overview
The Marketing Manager leads branded and private label marketing initiatives, supporting business growth through strategic planning, product development, and execution across sales, corporate marketing, and digital channels. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Procurement, and external stakeholders to bring products from concept to launch while ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
What You’ll Do- Own and maintain brand standards, tone, and consistency across marketing materials and customer-facing communications
- Develop quarterly/annual marketing plans and a campaign calendar aligned to business priorities and product launches
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution across digital channels and sales support initiatives
- Coordinate product launch readiness and go-to-market execution with Sales, Production/Operations, and Procurement
- Build and maintain sales enablement tools (sell sheets, presentations, customer portals, product documentation)
- Define marketing KPIs and maintain reporting cadence to support data-driven decisions
- Manage marketing spend within approved budgets and track ROI
- Manage external vendors and partners (design, print, digital, photography) to ensure quality and timelines
- Support communication efforts during product issues or recalls as directed
- Participate in hiring and team growth planning as the marketing function evolves
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of marketing experience (food manufacturing, CPG, distribution, or regulated product environment preferred)
- Proven ability to manage marketing campaigns from planning through execution and measurement
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience developing sales enablement tools and supporting cross-functional commercial teams
- Strong analytical skills with experience using KPIs and reporting to guide decisions
- Experience managing budgets and working with external vendors/partners
- Working knowledge of food labeling basics, compliant claims, and quality/food safety awareness (preferred)
This is a leadership role with direct supervision responsibilities, including goal setting, performance management, coaching, and professional development for the marketing team.
