What you’ll do Project Management and Leadership- Oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and monitor financial performance.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks.
- Process payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and analyze project financial reports.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience on commercial projects, specifically multi-level, multi-family structures.
- Experience managing and leading teams.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex documents.
- Proactive prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling and cost control.
- Knowledge of LEED principles.
- Familiarity with construction equipment, tools, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam, CAD software, and Pro Core.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex documents.
- Proactive prioritization and multitasking skills.
- HUD project experience (preferred).
