The Senior Tech will work directly with customers who have submitted product reviews or have sent in emails to the Tech group. In this position the Senior Tech will work closely with product developers, model apps, and suppliers to solve product and listing errors as well as build experience. This role will work closely with Mid-level and Junior Techs to accomplish research on products, model listings.
They will also work in a mentoring role to the Mid-level Techs. The Senior Tech will oversee any test fitment projects that need done.
- Product Reviews
- Work with customers directly that submitted product reviews to gain information about their experience with our products - Tech Emails
- Work with customers directly, with all issues that are brought to us. Mentor the Mid-level Techs to help them build experience and knowledge as they work on emails - Sort simple email cases into a folder for Junior Techs to accomplish
- Communication
- Work with Mid-Level Techs closely and will be overall communication with parts suppliers, engineers, product developers and model apps employees - Project Management
- Organize Junior Tech product inspections and projects - Website Q&A
- Provide professional answers to Questions asked on our site - Other tasks may be assigned
- 5+ years of powersports experience
- 5+ years of in-depth mechanical experience (suspension/ engine rebuild, electrical work)
- 80% or higher score on Senior Tech Test
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and enjoy working with people
- Able to stay organized while multitasking
- Proficient with Typing and Computer based research
- Good leadership skills and a desire to help those around them
- Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic focused on commitment, pride of work, quality, desire to learn, and dependability
- Must be able to work scheduled hours
Position performance will require the regular physical ability to walk and function in elevation changes by the means of self-propulsion, to include steps, ladders, and varied walking and working surfaces. Ability to negotiate warehouse work areas in a safe manner and behavior. Vision abilities specific to the position will include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Performing in this role will require the use of hands to use and handle tools, objects, materials, and controls. Performance requires the frequent ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will need to be able to read, write, and understand basics of the English language. Employee may have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and up to 45 pounds assisted or if capable.
