We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in our state-of-the-art birthing center. Responsibilities- Perform triage assessments for obstetric patients, including antepartum monitoring, labor and delivery support, and postpartum/couplet care (mother-baby bonding and recovery).
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and neonatal stabilization.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, administer medications, and assist with procedures including C-sections and epidurals.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure safe outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols for infection control and emergency response.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care setting.
- Current certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS (must be maintained).
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
