Opportunity to join a commercial pharmaceutical company who treat patients with a rare disease and are ramping up manufacturing at their domestic 3rd-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage supplier qualification processes, including audits and assessments, to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance through metrics such as on-time delivery, quality control data, and complaint resolution.
• Identify and assess risks associated with suppliers and their products.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring the safe and consistent supply of materials for pharmaceutical production.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries, with supplier auditing experience.
• Strong background in Supplier Quality Management (SQM).
• ASQ-CQA certification is a plus.
