About The Opportunity

Healthcare — Multispecialty hospital and clinical services sector based on Bypass Road, Patna, Bihar. The facility provides acute and chronic adult medical care through inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, emergency response and diagnostic services to a diverse patient population.

We are seeking an experienced on-site Consultant Physician (Internal Medicine) to deliver high-quality clinical care, drive patient-safety initiatives, and mentor junior clinicians in a fast-paced tertiary care environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive medical care for adult patients across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and emergency settings—diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up.
Lead daily ward rounds, coordinate admissions and discharges, and ensure continuity of care with clear, evidence-based management plans.
Respond to medical emergencies and stabilise critically ill patients; perform advanced resuscitation and time-sensitive interventions as required.
Order, interpret and act on investigations (labs, imaging, ECG, bedside ultrasound); perform approved bedside procedures within scope of practice.
Supervise, train and mentor junior doctors, residents and nursing staff; participate in morbidity & mortality meetings and clinical governance activities.
Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to hospital protocols, and contribute to quality improvement, patient-safety and audit initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

MD or DNB in Internal Medicine.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Proven experience managing adult inpatients and acute medical emergencies in a hospital setting.
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Strong competence in ECG interpretation, common bedside procedures and clinical decision-making based on evidence-based medicine.
Willingness to work on-site full time at the Bypass Road, Patna location and participate in rotational duties including emergency calls.

Preferred

Experience in ICU/High Dependency Unit management.
Training or hands-on experience with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
Prior involvement in teaching, clinical audits or quality-improvement projects.
