The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide a supportive environment for the recovery of men and women facing various social and spiritual challenges. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods, the Center creates financial support and offers a program that focuses on basic necessities, good food, work therapy, leisure activities, counseling, and spiritual guidance. As a team member, you help recycle goods and restore broken lives.

• Securely operate the vehicle and report any accidents, injuries, or property damage to the supervisor and complete required paperwork.
• Conduct a daily walk‑around inspection of the vehicle – checking air, water, oil, and other essential components to keep equipment in good condition.
• Maintain a clean truck cab and box, removing all personal items each day.
• Plan daily routes based on assigned pick‑ups and make all scheduled calls.
• Load and unload goods, using blankets, ropes, and other means to prevent movement, damage, and maximize space.
• Assist Thrift Store personnel with proper placement of delivered items in the store.
• Supervise the Truck Helper, modeling professional behavior and work habits in line with the rehabilitation program.
• Keep accurate delivery records (manifests, trip log, Green Sheet, etc.) and adhere to communication procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or administrator.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record; must pass a driving test.
• Physical ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to read maps and plan/ prioritize daily routes.
• Proficiency with an iPad for GPS, texting, and inspection reporting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Medical card required according to city/state regulations.
• Passing a DOT physical is required; failure may result in termination.
