Overview

Designer - Kitchen/Bath at The Home Depot. Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr location:
New York, NY.

Designers support three primary store priorities:
Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. They provide fast, thorough, and friendly service by welcoming customers, assessing kitchen and/or bath project needs, providing showroom tours, and meeting with customers to review room designs and purchasing recommendations. They also support In Stock initiatives by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking as necessary, and support Store Appearance by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a safe and appealing shopping environment.

By supporting these priorities, Designers drive sales to meet department and store goals.

• Welcome customers to the store and assess their kitchen and/or bath project needs.
• Provide showroom tours and measure rooms for design planning.
• Present room designs and purchasing recommendations to customers.
• Monitor and restock samples and brochures to support In Stock initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and appealing store environment and promote effective showroom displays.

• Customer service skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ability to assess project needs and translate them into design ideas and recommendations.
• Willingness to work in a retail environment and support store priorities.
