Per Diem Cath Lab Nurse

Overview

Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within the RN scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within St. Joseph’s Health and on the assigned unit.

• Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve department goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or closely related field preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Successful completion of BLS; department-specific orientation and certifications such as PALS, ACLS, etc.; current clinical experience in the area.
• Must complete testing prior to orientation for specialty areas and orientation within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday.
• Must meet all Human Resources requirements.
