Screw Machine Mechanic with Family Owned Industry Leader

We are seeking an experienced Screw Machine Mechanic with strong setup and troubleshooting skills on Brown & Sharpe and Davenport screw machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and continually improving machines to ensure high-quality production, safety, and efficiency.

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

• Set up, adjust, and operate Brown & Sharpe and Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, cams, and attachments required for each job
• Perform machine changeovers and first-piece inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues to minimize downtime
• Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on screw machines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards
• Work closely with quality and production teams to meet production goals

$30-$40 an hour depending on Experience
