## Description
** Position Summary
** The Senior Analyst – Supply Planning is responsible for developing and executing supply plans that ensure optimal product availability while balancing inventory investment, production efficiency, and customer service levels. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to align demand forecasts with manufacturing and purchasing capabilities.

The Senior Analyst – Supply Planning plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, minimizing supply disruptions, and supporting business growth through effective planning processes and data-driven decision making.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Supply & Production Planning
*** Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business objectives.
* Translate demand into production, inventory, and procurement requirements.
* Ensure appropriate inventory levels to support service targets while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
* Balance plant capacity, labor availability, and material constraints in planning decisions.
** Inventory Management
*** Monitor inventory performance, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies.
* Lead initiatives to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
** Cross-Functional Collaboration
*** Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
* Coordinate with manufacturing leadership to resolve supply constraints and production risks.
* Communicate supply risks, shortages, or delays proactively to stakeholders.
** Process Improvement & Analytics
*** Drive continuous improvement in planning systems, tools, and workflows.
* Analyze supply chain performance metrics including service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.
* Implement best practices to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
** Systems & Reporting
*** Maintain planning data within ERP/MRP systems (Sage).
* Develop and maintain reporting to support executive visibility into supply performance.
* Support system enhancements and planning automation initiatives.## Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
* 4–8+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management.
* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills required.
* Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (SAGE preferred).
* Experience in manufacturing or food/CPG environment preferred.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
