Corporate Controller

A dynamic and growing $100 million apparel and garment manufacturer with a strong presence in both domestic and international markets. The company partners with leading retailers and e-commerce brands to design, produce, and distribute high-quality fashion and lifestyle products.

The Corporate Controller (VP level) will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for the organization. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance while supporting strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep accounting expertise, strong leadership, and experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cost accounting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings; prepare consolidated financial statements and internal management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Oversee annual audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Develop, mentor, and manage accounting team members.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate product costing and margin reporting.
• Lead financial system optimization efforts and implement tools to improve reporting and analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8-12 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally in apparel or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting.
