General

Summary:

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times; be alert to the needs and concerns of the children as individuals and as a part of the larger whole. Work co-operatively with the classroom teacher or assistant teacher to engage and instruct children during the school day.

Skill and Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 60 college credits or County Substitute License;
  Certificate of Eligibility PreK-Grade 3 preferred.
• Knowledge of child development.
• Must be 18 years of age, or older.
• Effective English oral and written skills.
• Second Language oral and written skills a plus.
• Effective comprehension and reasoning skills.
• Ability to accurately fill out necessary documentation and form.
• Basic computer skills a plus.
