Locum Jobs Online  is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, 08863!

We are
seeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to provide in-house coverage at a busy
community hospital in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

This role offers a varied
schedule, strong nursing support, and the opportunity to work closely with
OB/GYN residents in a collegial environment.

Compensation   : $240

Coverage Model:  100% in-house
(no off-site call)

Clinical
Responsibilities

Cover Labor & Delivery floor and
ED OB/GYN consults

Perform gynecologic emergency
surgeries as needed

Manage laboring patients from
sign-out through delivery

Participate in daily nursing huddles
and coordinated care

Work primarily with an OB/GYN
resident; physician functions independently

Nurses may escalate to backup MDs if
additional support is required

Patient
Volume & Acuity

Average Deliveries:  2–3 per day

Case Mix:  Mostly
low-risk with some medium- and high-risk patients

Nursery Level:  Level II

Gestational Age:  Deliveries
for patients ≥32 weeks

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in
OB/GYN

Comfortable with in-house solo
coverage and emergency GYN cases

Strong collaborative skills with
residents and nursing staff

Active New Jersey medical license
(or ability to obtain)
