Singer Equipment Company, one of the largest food service and equipment distributors in the US, is seeking a Product Maintenance & Cost Coordinator. The Product Maintenance & Cost Coordinator will assist the Product team by creating and maintaining product records through sourcing and maintaining vendor price lists and data sheets and integrating information into ERP.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create and maintain new product records in the ERP system.
- Source, review, and update vendor price lists and data sheets.
- Extract, compare, and validate product information, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize ERP, Excel, Qlik, and other tools to generate ad-hoc reports and analyze key data points.
- Manage inbound requests from shared mailboxes, triaging, communicating, and following up as needed.
- Support sales, procurement, and operations teams by prioritizing and responding to requests, directing inquiries to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Create and import data files (Excel, CSV, text) into ERP and other systems, including price files, orders, special nets, and Bill and Hold processes.
- Maintain and update product details, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity.
- Apply a thorough understanding of internal procedures to efficiently handle requests and provide quick resolutions.
- Execute tasks with precision, meeting deadlines and adhering to established guidelines.
- Proactively manage follow-ups and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of product cost structures and units of measurement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to organize, interpret, and validate data across multiple sources.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and maintain a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Solid mathematical aptitude, including the ability to work with rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling non-standardized situations and identifying effective solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks efficiently while following company procedures and policies.
- Consistently meets deadlines and demonstrates reliability in work attendance and task completion.
- Experience in distribution and/or food service-related business preferred.
