Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, production, and planning aspects of projects with varying types, complexities, scopes, and budgets. The role requires supporting the project team by providing technical expertise and sound solutions, efficiently delivering construction documents, and ensuring client satisfaction through meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

* Design and assess building power, lighting, low-voltage systems, and photovoltaic projects.

* Collaborate effectively with other disciplines within the project team.

* Efficiently deliver construction documents on time to ensure client satisfaction.

* Contribute to K-12, higher educational, and municipal projects.

* Understand and contribute to the process and workflow of an A/E project design team while working within established budgets and timelines.

Essential Skills

* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of Electrical Engineering experience in an office environment.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office or other presentation/editing software packages.

* Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

* Self-driven with a desire to learn and grow professionally.

* Ability to multi-task and meet multiple simultaneous deadlines.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Previous public-sector experience is preferred.

* Experience with Revit is a plus.

* Professional Engineer certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role includes traveling to job sites once a week. The work environment involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals and working within a structured project design process. Dress code is business casual.

This is a Permanent position based out of Patchogue, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
