** Illuminate USA is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support our sourcing and purchasing operations at our growing manufacturing facility in the Columbus, Ohio area. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials to keep production running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone early in their procurement career who is ready to gain hands-on experience, collaborate across departments, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

* Key Responsibilities:

* · Assist with day-to-day procurement activities including issuing purchase orders and tracking delivery schedules
· Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and order status
· Help coordinate RFQs and gather quotes from vendors to support purchasing decisions
· Work with internal teams (operations, logistics, and finance) to ensure material availability aligns with production needs
· Follow up on delayed orders and help resolve delivery or quality issues with suppliers
· Maintain accurate procurement records and assist with invoice and payment reconciliation
· Track purchasing data and help identify opportunities for cost savings or supplier consolidation
· Support compliance with internal purchasing policies and documentation standards
· Participate in team meetings and cross-functional projects as needed

* Qualifications:

* · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
· 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain support (manufacturing environment a plus)
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
· Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative procurement team
