The Scientist (Oil-Based Formulations) will develop and support oil-based dietary supplement formulations, including oil suspensions, lipid systems, and softgel-compatible fills. This hands‑on role works closely with Product Development, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales to bring new products from concept through commercialization.

• Formulate and optimize oil‑based products for dietary supplements and foods.
• Support additional dosage forms as needed (liquids, capsules, powders).
• Troubleshoot formulation and processing issues during development and scale‑up.
• Source ingredients, support formulation costing, and assess feasibility.
• Maintain formulation records and support QA documentation.
• Perform and assist with QC testing (GC, HPLC, ICP‑MS).
• Run bench‑top, pilot, and scale‑up batches.
• Maintain lab equipment, materials, and documentation.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet project timelines.

• 3+ years of product development experience in dietary supplements, food, or cosmetics.
• Strong experience with oil‑based formulation and lipid systems.
• Knowledge of natural product chemistry and formulation costing.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• GMP and DSHEA familiarity.
• Scale‑up and commercialization experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is required.
