Structural CAD Drafter – Facades, Shoring & Building Envelope
📍 Northern New Jersey

We are a growing, multidisciplinary engineering firm based in Northern New Jersey seeking a Structural CAD Drafter with experience in façade systems, shoring/temporary support, and building envelope design
. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects across commercial, residential, and institutional developments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural and façade construction drawings using AutoCAD
• Develop plans and details for shoring, underpinning, and temporary support systems
• Produce drawings related to building envelope systems
  , including cladding, curtain walls, waterproofing, and façade attachments
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and consultants to ensure design accuracy and constructability
• Revise drawings based on engineering markups, field conditions, and RFIs
• Maintain drawing standards, layering, and documentation quality throughout project life cycles

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Structural or Architectural CAD Drafter
• Proven experience with facade systems, shoring/underpinning, and building envelope details
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Familiarity with NYC/NJ construction practices and codes is a plus
• Ability to interpret structural calculations, sketches, and construction documents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
