Project Manager – Water Infrastructure & Tank Construction

Compensation: $60,000 – $100,000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to plan, organize, and manage complex water infrastructure and tank construction projects from turnover through completion. This role involves close coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with all specifications and safety requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Oversee project customers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Delegate tasks to team members based on skill, experience, and deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to complete projects accurately, efficiently, and on schedule
• Outline project tasks, timelines, and budget requirements
• Conduct cost analysis and prepare budget forecasts
• Plan and develop structured project schedules using Primavera P6
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Serve as primary liaison between company, customers, and vendors
• Address concerns, questions, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, and company standards
• Provide project insight and documentation to senior management
• Support sales/marketing with project-related training and technical information
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Project Manager

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Working knowledge of tank manufacturing and erection processes
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced construction environment

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business (preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience in construction project management
• PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification (preferred)

Physical & Travel Requirements

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Travel may be required; some projects may require staying on-site for specified durations
