Class A CDL Driver

OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 24 stores in WA,  OR.

Drive and deliver product to customers in a safe, productive, efficient, accurate and timely manner following established policies and procedures.

• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicle and all other appropriate paperwork.
• Fill out truck manifest prior to leaving store.
• Fill out daily trip records including log book and duty sheets.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
• Commit to high performance by maintaining regular, consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

• Able to drive tractor/trailers loaded with cylinders and freight and deliver goods to branch stores/customers.
• Class "A" CDL with T&X endorsements required.
• Must have a current DOT medical certificate.
• At least 24 months experience driving Class A vehicles preferred.
• Must be at 21 years of age (due to insurance reasons).
• Follow all procedures as outlined by DOT regulations and company policy.
• Physical requirements include: lift/move up to 50‑70 lbs., occasionally lift 150‑750 lbs. with lifting device.
• Must have valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• DOT Drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Salary Range:
Expected hiring salary is $30.00/hr. (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $30.00/hr.–$45.00/hr.) Paid time off includes 8 paid holidays per year, vacation, sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 worked, jury duty (up to 30 days), and bereavement leave.
