Med/Surg RN Job Details

Location:
Pasco, WA– Heart of Washington Wine Country, near the Snake, Yakima, and Columbia Rivers
• Healthcare Setting:
Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (10 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: December 2, 2025; End: March 3, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed hours)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680–$1800
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
• Float Requirement:
Occasional float to Med/Surg unit as needed
• Electronic Health Record:
Meditech
Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active RN license (Washington state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred (including documentation and GG scoring)
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Resume, self-assessment, and skills checklist required for submission
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient progress and outcomes (GG scoring preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient recovery
• Float to Med/Surg unit as needed to support clinical operations
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
