Data Center Technician L2

A large Data Center in Boardman, OR is hiring multiple Data Center Technicians Level 2 to join the team for a great opportunity!

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware and networking equipment.
• Execute routine hardware installations, upgrades, and decommissioning tasks.
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and elevate issues as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inventory used.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

• Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, especially GPU‑based systems.
• Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1‑3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands‑on hardware experience, particularly with home labs or GPU architecture.
• 2‑3+ years of prior IT‑related experience, including data center or cabling exposure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to commute to Boardman, Umatilla, and Hermiston, OR.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $28.00 per hour.

This is a Contract position based out of Pasco, WA. The role is fully onsite.
