• Minimum Education:
  
  High School or equivalent required.
• Required Skills:
  
  Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Bilingual and/or English‑Spanish speaking preferred.
• Cert ៖ Basic Life Support (BLS).
  
  Certifications:
  
  DATIA Certified Professional Collector, Lifeloc Certified Breath Alcohol Technician or certification within twelve (12) months after hire.
• Minimum
  
  Work Experience:
  
  Two (2) or more years in drug testing or as a medical technician desired. Knowledge of drug screening rules and regulations desirable.
• Preferred knowledge of occupational health or related field.

• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
• Perform drug screens in clinic and on‑site settings.
• Perform breath and alcohol tests in clinic and on‑site settings.
• Demonstrate competency in department‑specific technical skills.
• Maintain required certification.
• Prepare the patient for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
• Stock and clean examination rooms.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records.
• Show knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the population’s specific needs.
