Under the supervision of an RN, performs telemetry monitoring.

Reports to:

Director of Intensive Care Unit. FLSA:
Non‑exempt.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree preferred.

Licenses: EMT, EMT‑P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA. Preferred or completion of first semester clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing Degree Program (ADN or BSN).

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required;
Completion of Cardiac Telemetry Certification within 1 year of hire;
Evidence of successful completion ofוקים Telemetry/Dysrhythmia course.

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identify significant tegelijk arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervene appropriately. Identify and correct for artifacts. Report abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in the patient's physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Test equipment for proper working order. Report equipment problems to the supervisor.

Hourly Wage: $17.96 - $24.55
