Lourdes Behavioral Health is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Mental Health Aide, you will help make communities healthier by providing compassionate care to residents of our Adult Inpatient Unit.

• Assists in the day‑to‑day operations of the Adult Inpatient Unit/CTF (Transitions Unit).
• Maintains and promotes effective communication between unit and other departments.
• Documents clinical services.
• Works as a team to provide services.
• Demonstrates professional accountability.
• Implements measures that safeguard the welfare, care, health and safety of the unit, including patients, families, and coworkers.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population, culture, and specific needs of the patients served.

• Minimum education:
  
  High School diploma required.
• Preferred:
  Associate’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field.
• Required skills:
  
  critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
• Perioperative Nurse (CNOR).
• Spanish‑English bilingual preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
• Licenses:
  Must have or apply for a Washington State Agency‑Affiliated Counselor within 30 days of employment.
• Alternatively, possess current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Social Worker Associate & Advanced (LSWAA) as defined by the Washington State Department of Health.
• Minimum work experience:
  Three (3) years of recent clinical / management experience in mental health treatment preferred.

Hourly range: $17.86‑$25.15
