Overview

Base Pay Range$32.00/hr – $43.00/hr
Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces medical/health errors.
- Deploy crisis intervention during a “Code Gray” and provide necessary support.
- Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, participating in treatment team meetings to evaluate and update treatment goals and interventions.
- Conduct group education and programs per established schedule, emphasizing suicide prevention education for patients and/or patient representatives.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients, protecting patient rights and serving as liaison to patients, referral sources, and community agencies.
- Maintain clinical and regulatory processes, demonstrating theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and working knowledge of DSM‑IV.
- Perform utilization review for inpatient admissions, coordinate discharge planning, transfer to other facilities, and community resources.
- Provide treatment plan, discharge education, and resource referrals to patients and/or patient representatives.
- Bilingual and/or English/Spanish speaking preferred, with ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services from an accredited university.
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
- Minimum five years of experience in the Mental Health field preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work within supervision parameters established by the Washington Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.
