Pipe Welder

Hutco, Inc. is seeking skilled Pipe Welders with strong TIG and STICK welding experience to support ongoing shipyard work in Pascagoula, MS. This position requires proficiency in welding procedures on stainless steel and copper nickel pipe for X-Ray quality welds.

Perform pipe welding on stainless steel and copper nickel using TIG (GTAW) and STICK (SMAW) welding processes

Weld in restricted 6G positions for X-Ray quality results

Use TIG process for root pass and 11018 electrode for fill and cap

Adhere to all safety standards, job specifications, and quality guidelines

Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in all weather conditions

Follow all project deadlines and job site protocols

Minimum 4 years of experience as a pipe welder

Proficient in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (STICK) welding techniques

Must pass 6G restricted X-Ray welding test on carbon steel and stainless/copper nickel pipe

Ability to pass a drug screen (HFT) and background check

Eligible to work in the U.S. (citizenship or permanent resident status required)

Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed

Ability to work in confined and elevated spaces

Exposure to varying weather conditions and shipyard environments

Physically capable of performing demanding tasks for extended periods
