Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process, within the scope of the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and other relevant guidelines. The RN aims to help patients attain, maintain, and restore health, demonstrating necessary knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Qualifications:- Education: Graduation from NLN-accredited Nursing program
- License: Current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license
- Certifications: BCLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and others required based on specialty area, with specific time frames for acquisition
Minimum of one year inpatient clinical experience preferred, within the past five years or evidence of a refresher program.
Supervision and Reporting:Reports to the Patient Care Manager; supervises LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Technicians.
Physical and Mental Demands:Requires physical activities such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking; auditory and manual dexterity skills; ability to work extended hours and handle high-stress situations with emotional stability.
Special Demands:Excellent customer service, professional etiquette, computer proficiency, and clinical judgment are essential.
