We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our grassroots marketing efforts in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and surrounding areas. This individual will play a key role in expanding Kaya Life’s presence, building relationships with local physicians, clinics, and patients, and driving patient referrals through outreach and education. The ideal candidate will have baseline knowledge of the medical cannabis industry, cannabinoid-based medicine, and the grit and determination required to work in this emerging industry.

Initial hours will be 5 to 10 hours per week for 12 weeks.

• Grassroots Marketing: Conduct outreach to local physicians, clinics, and wellness providers to promote Kaya Life’s services and build partnerships.
• Community Engagement: Attend local events, health fairs, and other networking opportunities to raise awareness of medical cannabis as a treatment option.
• Patient Referrals: Develop and maintain relationships with medical professionals and community leaders to drive patient referrals.
• Education & Advocacy: Provide educational resources about medical cannabis, focusing on its therapeutic benefits and patient eligibility.
• Sales & Outreach: Promote Kaya Life’s services to prospective patients in the Gulfport area through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and digital communication.
• Reporting: Track and report on grassroots marketing efforts, providing feedback and insights to help refine strategies and improve outreach efforts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Kaya Life’s clinical team to ensure a seamless process for patient referrals and physician consultations.

• Knowledge of Cannabis Industry: Basic understanding of medical cannabis, plant-based medicine, and the growing role of cannabis in healthcare.

  Experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach, ideally in the healthcare or wellness industry.
• Grit & Determination: Must possess the drive and tenacity to succeed in an evolving industry. Must be comfortable navigating and overcoming challenges.
• Professionalism & Respect: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to respectfully engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Comfort in approaching physicians and medical professionals to build partnerships.
• Self-Confident: Ability to confidently speak about medical cannabis and engage potential patients and healthcare providers.
• Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to attend local events, meetings, and visits with physicians.
