The Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and employees at the hospital. Direct responsibilities include providing basic security services, investigations, personal protection, traffic control assignments, and emergency services. Represents Security Services to patients, visitors, physicians, and employees.

• All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental personnel policies and procedures.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts non‑routine inspections of the physical environment and surrounding property to identify areas for security improvement.
• Ethics and Compliance Expectations 1. All employees will be held accountable for behaviors displayed relative to the values articulated in the Mission and Values Statement. “Will act with absolute honest, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives.”
• Reports and investigate all security incidents involving patients, visitors, personnel, or property, in a timely manner.
