As a Security Officer - Media Access Control in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will monitor entrances and exits, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. Your role involves using computer or tablet systems, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying the credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in a technology-focused environment.
• Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal and client representatives as needed.
• Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location, addressing inquiries and offering directions or assistance as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related breaches according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and communicating relevant information to appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
