Business Development Representative – Promotional Products (Outside Sales)
Location:
Houston Area (Territory-Based | Full-Time | On-Site)
We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Outside Sales / Business Development Representative to grow market share throughout the Houston area. This is a true hunter role focused on generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering customized branding solutions to industrial and business clients.

What You’ll Do- Generate new business through in-person cold calls, phone prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Develop and manage a territory of industrial and B2B clients
- Conduct professional sales presentations to decision-makers
- Identify client branding needs and recommend customized promotional product solutions
- Coordinate closely with the internal operations team to ensure timely delivery and product quality
- Provide exceptional customer service to build repeat and referral business
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Products and services include customized branded merchandise such as embroidery, laser engraving, direct-to-garment printing, direct-to-film printing, and other promotional product solutions.
Who We’re Looking For- Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong new business development skills (hunter mentality required)
- Comfortable making high-volume cold calls (in person and by phone)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and disciplined with time management
- Existing book of business preferred (but not required)
- Experience selling to industrial, manufacturing, construction, or B2B clients is a plus
- Familiarity with promotional products or customization processes is helpful but not required
- Base Salary:
Up to $54,000 - Commission: 10%
- Typical commissions range from $4,000 – $10,000+ annually, with uncapped earning potential based on performance
