For this position, the restaurant is owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is a separate employer. Employment matters—hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are handled exclusively by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in hiring decisions or employment matters at this restaurant.
Aboutthe Role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers plan shifts, monitor performance, ensure the team meets standards, monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with incoming Shift Managers to maintain continuity.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
