ASAP About the Position Pasadena, Texas – NP/PA Primary Care Locum Tenens December Coverage | Weekday Schedule | Low-Volume Outpatient Clinic | eCW EMR Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide short-term primary care coverage for a community-focused outpatient clinic in Pasadena, Texas. This assignment offers predictable weekday hours, scheduled-only visits, and a steady, low-volume patient load — ideal for experienced NPs/PAs looking to supplement their December schedule.

Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Weekends:
Closed

EMR: eClinical

Works (eCW)

Patients per Day: 5–10 (scheduled appointments only)

Clinical Responsibilities
  • The NP/PA will provide routine primary care services including:
    Chronic disease management, Preventive care & wellness visits, Acute primary care for non-emergent issues, Medication management and refills, Physical exams, Patient counseling & education, Efficient documentation within eCW
  • No walk-ins, no urgent care volume, and no procedures beyond standard primary care.
Candidate Requirements
  • Active & unrestricted Texas NP/PA license
  • Unrestricted DEA (required)
  • Certified (any specialty accepted with Primary Care experience)
  • Proficient with outpatient primary care workflows
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and patient-communication skills
