Fieldbridge is looking for a Pasadena, TX-based Manual Machinist, to work for one of the largest oilfield service companies in the world.
Pay / Schedule : $ / hr with great possibility for OT on Saturdays. M-Fst shift : am to : pm. At $ / hr and hr / week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $, / gross.
As a Manual Machinist, you’ll support Machine shop in our Pasadena, TX in running conventional (manual) lathes and or mill, holding tight tolerances meeting OEM requirements and specifications. Read and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements for the different products that optimize the extraction, production and processing of energy.
Keyresponsibilities
- Supporting safety culture and driving a safe to start mindset.
- Operating special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and / or mill).
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.
- Selecting, aligning, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
- Reading and interpreting documents such as OEM drawings, REI’s, Work Instructions, and Digital Routers.
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T). Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Demonstrate advanced / expert skill level in conventional (manual) lathes and / or mill.

- Have High School Diploma or equivalent and + years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Have ability to operate Manual machines
- Experience on and jaw chucks
- Supporting Machine shop based on customer needs.
