Austin Industrial is currently seeking a reliable and safety- focused Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse operations in Pasadena, TX. This person will have hands‑on experience operating a sit‑down propane forklift, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Specific

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Operate sit‑down propane forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stage materials.

* Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing warehouse inventory.

* Perform general warehouse duties such as palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and material handling.

* Conduct routine forklift safety inspections and report any issues.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

* Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.

* Follow all company policies, safety rules, and site procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in chemical plant, industrial, or manufacturing warehouse environments.

* Experience with inventory systems or basic computer skills.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Recent, verifiable sit‑down propane forklift experience

* Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks

* Strong work ethic, teamwork, and commitment to safety

* Able to work in an industrial/chemical plant environment

* Must pass all site‑required screenings and onboarding

* Valid Driver's License and TWIC card required

* Consistent, reliable attendance

* Ability to work safely and follow written and verbal instructions

* Must meet all physical demands of the role
