We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HSE Manager, North America, to join our team.

Position Summary

The Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for leading the North American HSE strategy implementation across a diverse network of operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and consistent implementation of HSE policies and training. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of HSE frameworks within industrial service environments and thrive in a fast-paced, high-travel role that supports both field and corporate operations.

Compliance & Regulatory Leadership
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT
    , and local regulations across multiple U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and manage all federal, state/provincial, and local HSE permits and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and reduce HSE risks across field operations, laboratories, and client-facing activities.
  • Implement incident prevention programs and lead root cause analyses following incidents or near misses.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to embed a culture of safety and accountability.
Training & Workforce Development
  • Develop and deliver standardized training programs, including onboarding, annual certifications, and task‑specific instruction.
  • Conduct on‑site safety training and toolbox talks for field teams and supervisors.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt materials to meet evolving business and compliance needs.
Audit & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead internal HSE audits and inspections across sites and service lines.
  • Oversee Root Cause analysis and corrective action plans and track remediation efforts through completion.
  • Benchmark best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety performance and reduce risk exposure.

  • 7+ years of progressive HSE experience, preferably within TIC, industrial services, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing HSE across geographically dispersed operations.
  • Proven ability to develop training, lead audits, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 70%+ throughout North America.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, CRSP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or French (a plus but not required).
  • Strong background in safety management, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization in the oil and gas sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
