As a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a vital part of a highly‑skilled team that shares in your passion for cardiac surgery. • The Cardiac Services Technician provides technical services, assists in the Hybrid Room and Operating Room while providing care for the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.
• The Cardiac Services Technician works collaboratively to complete all Cardiac Surgical Technologist assignments.
• Works under the direct supervision of the assigned clinician for the case, and the Director, to facilitate safe invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Performs advanced tasks routinely in support of the surgical team.
• Arranges sterile setup for surgical procedures, passes instruments, as well as sponge and sutures to surgeons and surgical assistants.
• Prepares sterile supplies, assists in cleanup of the operating room, checks placement and the operation of equipment, and checks and restocks the operating room after each procedure.

• 2‑3 years of experience in a surgery – required.
• Lead CST experience is highly preferred.
• Formal training from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician Program.
• Current Certified Surgical Tech Certification – required.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association (BLS or BCLS) Course Completion and Certification – required.
