Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location:

Pasadena, Texas

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay: $1404 per week

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
• Documents nursing assessments and patient progress
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cardiac care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Current valid RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license as applicable)
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Critical thinking and strong interpersonal communication
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; proficient in PC skills
• Physical abilities to stand, move, lift (50-100 lbs), and assist with procedures
• Ability to work with diverse teams and maintain professionalism
• Technical/motor skills for procedures and equipment operation
• Mental resilience to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to varying schedules
• Sensory acuity for effective communication and patient care
