Job Overview
Pride Health is hiring a Skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our client at a medical facility in Pasadena, TX. This is a 12-week contract with possibilities for an extension, offering an excellent opportunity to begin working with a leading healthcare organization.
Shifts:
Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Hourly Pay: $21-$23 per hour
Job Duration: 12 weeks – possibilities for an extension
Responsibilities- Obtaining patient medical history, and documenting patient responses in the Epic EMR system.
- Preparing and administering vaccines, as well as carrying out minor tasks delegated by the physician.
- Active RMA, CMA, NRCMA Certification
- Active BLS from AHA
- Direct experience with rooming patients in an outpatient setting
- Experience working with Pediatric and Adult patients
- Willingness to jump in and assist providers when needed
