Responsibilities- Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office.
- Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office. Venipuncture experience preferred.
- Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
- High school diploma or GED required at hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days (course provided by FCS).
All offers of employment are contingent upon a clear background screening. New hires must receive required vaccinations (including influenza) and undergo drug and nicotine testing. Medical marijuana cards are not recognized.
