Position SummaryThe Bayport site in Pasadena, TX is a manufacturing location for the production of Kapton® polyimide films. We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will support process improvements across the plant, develop subject‑matter expertise in a specific process area, and play a key role in commercializing new film types for high‑growth markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead improvement projects to increase process capacity and reliability, improve product quality, increase yields, implement technical programs, etc., resulting in step‑change improvements within the scope of responsibility of the technical team and driving effective operation of the facility.
- Lead and/or assist with complex troubleshooting, maintenance, root‑cause analysis and problem solving for production and quality, and potentially back‑fill the production engineer if needed.
- Support product commercialization at the facility, including front‑end loading and active support of test runs up to and including 24/7 coverage; test runs typically represent
