This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Pasadena, TX, for a Deputy Radiation Officer. The successful candidate will support radiation safety operations, ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, conduct radiation monitoring, maintain safety documentation, and perform inspections of radiation equipment. Responsibilities also include providing training, collaborating with teams to implement safety measures, and contributing to the overall safe handling of radioactive materials within the company.
Qualifications- Knowledge and experience in radiation safety, monitoring, and compliance
- Skills in data analysis, report preparation, and safety documentation
- Experience with radiation equipment operations and maintenance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on‑site and in team‑oriented environments
- Proficiency with relevant technologies and software used in radiation monitoring
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in radiation safety are advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Physics, Environmental Science, or Engineering is preferred
